How to hire a remote agency without surprises

By Ronald Armas · Updated November 3, 2026 · 2 min read

In short

Demand five things in writing: fixed scope, a staged timeline, defined change rounds, accounts in your name and clear payment terms. We work remotely with companies in several countries, in English or Spanish, with prices in US dollars.

Remote work goes well when everything is in writing. These are the five things you should demand, from us or anyone else.

1. Fixed scope

What gets delivered, in what format and what's excluded.

2. Staged timeline

Not one final date: review dates.

3. Defined change rounds

Ours are two per delivery. What matters is that the number exists.

4. Accounts in your name

Domain, hosting, ad account and payment gateway must be yours from day one.

5. Clear payment terms

On projects we work with 50% to start and 50% on delivery, in US dollars. Always ask to see real work before the second payment.

Prices for everything we do are on the pricing page.

What day-to-day remote work looks like

A good remote agency shows in its communication: written answers, progress you can see on your phone and review dates that are met. Meetings are short and used to decide; everything else moves forward on WhatsApp or email, with a written record.

International payments

We work in US dollars. Before paying, ask which payment methods they accept, who covers the transfer fees and what document you get for each payment. Having all of this in writing avoids surprises at the second payment.

Red flags

  • They show no real work or prices until after several meetings.
  • They want to register your domain or ad account in their name.
  • There's no defined number of changes.
  • They ask for 100% upfront on a project.

Where we work

We work with companies in Chile, Peru, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Spain and the United States. Each page covers what changes when you sell in that country.

Frequently asked questions

Is it safe to hire an agency in another country?

It is if scope, timelines, changes and payments are in writing, and if the accounts are in your name from day one.

Which currency do you charge in?

US dollars, excluding taxes.

How are meetings coordinated?

By video call, at agreed times; everything else moves forward in writing, on WhatsApp or email.
